Our Mind, Our Music
It is one thing that transcends
Through the minds of all who listen.
Even though it soon ends,
It is the meaning that still glistens.
With each and every note,
There is a purpose that is sung
By the words of those who wrote
For the old and for the young.
The choruses and melodies
Can take us to a place
That the readings and soliloquies
Have yet to make us face.
From Michael to Mozart and artists well-known,
Music is the entity we all call our own.
