Our Number's Up

We live, we die.
Memories made, memories fade.
We're all just one breath away from passing on from life to death.
When our number's up,
We close our eyes, and count to three, go with the rhythm of our last heart beat, then drift into eternity.

Our life regrets no longer a care,
Sorrows linger no more.
The mask we wear in this world of hate, now can be removed as we complete our journey through this God forsaken earth.

We know not when our time will come. Nor the way we shall go.
To us this mystery remains, until the time is come.
Meanwhile, we have memories to be made, and demons to fight.
So behind the mask we hide, until our number's up.
