Our One Chance

I could list

and list

and list

and list

all of the things I love in life.

I could preach about

our health

our happiness

our spirit.

I could remind everyone

that puppies will always be excited to see you

that babies are being born right now

that humans have stood on the moon.

But the thing that makes life sweet,

Is that it is our one chance.

We have this chance, to make or break.

We can love.

We can sing.

We can dance.

We can laugh.

We can cry.

We can make a difference.

We get one chance in this world to help make everything just a bit better.

And that is, in the most literal sense of the word:

Awesome.
