Our Poison vs. Our Goal

You destroyed me & demolished my spirit

You tripped me up on my own journey

You broke me down with each lie

You traumatized me with your eyes

You shattered me with your absence.

The anxiety you gave me with your silence

The hate you caused me to have against myself.

You honestly wrecked me but you’re not to blame completely.

I had my share of mistakes.

I allowed you talk down upon on me

I allowed you to edit my words and ideas

I allowed you to create my destructive feelings

I allowed you to manipulate every inch of my life

I allowed you to consume my living spirit and poise out of me.

All of it was our mistake.

Mistake for following the misleading ideas of Love.

We had the illusion of Love floating above our heads,

Clouding our common sense.

But together we were our poison.

Love cannot be defined.

It can only be felt through presence.

We can both share this by experiencing it together.

We’re to support each other’s dreams.

We're to encourage each other to fulfill our goals.

We’re to respect each other’s choices.

We’re to correct each other when wrong.

We’re to help each other grow as individuals.

We’re to be there for each other when needed.

We’re to take care of each other when sick.

We’re to learn from each other on the daily.

Of course, this is not all mandatory,

But by the end of it, there will be Love.
