Our Relationship

If your feet need a place to rest

They can rest right here with me

If your eyes are red and tired

I’ll give them something new to see

If you are lost and wondering

By your side I hope I’ll be

If you’ll only see me in my dreams,

Than I’ll go back to sleep.

Silhouetted emptiness

Haunting me no more

A part of me was closed off

But you opened up the door

it’s harder when you don’t stop
stop this hate no more

you are more than who you think you are

I would never ask for more

everlasting beauty

that is what you are
why can’t you see that?
it’s tearing me apart

I wanna prove it to you
but I don’t know where to start

I’ve hurt

and beat

and bruised you

and

I’m

sorry

that

I

abused

you

If your feet need a place to rest

They can rest right here with me

If your eyes are red and tired

I’ll give them something new to see

If you are lost and wondering

By your side I hope I’ll be

If you’ll only see me in my dreams,

Then I’ll go back to sleep.

Then I’ll go back to sleep.

i will see you in my dreams,

as long as I go back to sleep
