Our sea of plastic

Me that can see unseen

touch the untouched,

no words can express

the fear I have in losing something

unique and special

that microscopic,

tiny,

things floating by the unseen

turns my ocean green

in a curse on humanity

leaves a trail full of

plastic

our sea of plastic

harming what is around it,

yet we don’t pay attention

that the world has become a

place of harm.

We all know that

Water is essential for all of life,

yet we don’t do something

our generation will disappear

with our planet.
