Our Seven Wonders

I've always wondered why none of the 7 wonders of the world are located in America. Until I noticed our vain replacements It's as if, our country has cherished physical and mental shortcuts since the exploitation of Africa. 1) Isn't it ironic that the slave ship "Amistad" translates as "friendship"? or was this title fueled by full fledged propaganda, coincidence, predictions of fate, or ignorance? It wouldn't be the only time spanish words lost their meaning, But I guess this paradox was made in hopes of Christ's redeeming nature. 2) But of course our economy's Machu Picchu changed outlets, from slavery to the internet. I've always wondered why we input so much salience into electronic devices. Creating our lives based around codes that are virtually present but realistically nonexistent, Investing real emotions into emotionless laptops and iphones, that will backstab you for being human, deleting your entire life's input if you forget a passcode. 3) Why is it our Paradiso's, Movicos, and Colosseums only perpetrate mindless entertainment through film? desensitizing our instincts while making mockery of the extinct all the while trying to convince us that our fate is written in erasable ink. 4) While it's common to glorify sin, the seemingly sinless cast stones towards my brethren, they say past sins are to be washed away if a sinner makes his way to the bright mansion, Well I've never been to the Taj Mahal either, so I guess I'll have to depend on repentance as my church house to make it to heaven. 5) But America is historicaly great for twisting truth's and forcing our downfall, for praising the shallow, and turning hatred into a Great Wall. I've always wondered why people say that Love is Blind, when they've all got lists of physical attributes and will cut a love of their life out by the drop of a dime. confusing cute, with beauty, not realizing their fallacy, because if love is blind, then inherently hate can see. 6) I wonder how many of us wandered into our adulthood based on false pretenses. Never realizing that our childhood was worth more than the Treasury at Petra, We replaced curb ball with club hopping, and hop scotch with casual sexual engagement. I constantly wonder why alcohol wasn't necessary to have a good time then, but now, most of my fellow associates need it in order for their enjoyment to begin 7) So it's no wonder why weed is our replacement for the Chicen Itza, feeding into a lie, just to get high. I wonder if the reason Christopher Columbus brought weed with him was to only begin the U.S. tradition of mental shortcuts, I wonder if people smoke weed because their brains are too weak to create their own sense of peace, mellow nature, or clarity. But ultimately, the logistic of our countries blatant shortcuts mentally, and physically shows shallow replacements for true wonders So I wonder, how much longer will we continue the tradition of being lazy.
