Our Story

You never do know

What this story might tell

Until it is too late

And backtracking, oh well

Stuff happens

And life passes by

Not in a very nice way

Not a nice way at all

We all have to live

With the decisions we have made

No matter the consequences

We were meant to be this way

A story in which

Is never fully told

Due to the fact

That none of us even know

This is our lives

It should be our decisions

But it is not

For they are already written

The only thing to change

Is how we live our lives

With those words already written

On that paper up in the sky

Although we can not change

What is yet to come

The only thing to do

Is to look up above

Yes the world is unfair

But we all have to deal

Because this is what we've got

So live with it or skip rocks

Life is a metaphor

Not using like or as

But a constant comparison

To things and people we can never have

This life is not fair

But in the end we are all the same

Stuck on this planet

All alone, with our shame

Nothing to do

Nothing to say

Nothing to live for

But our departure one day

What happens after that

That story is not told

For it isn’t even written down

Because that is our story

Untold
