Our Teacher's Farewell
Yagquma ingonyama lahlokoma lonke ihlabathi.
Yinkosi yezilwanyana utat'uDaza ngokugquma:
Ubhonga ulwazi kukhale nezithulu.
Ngudyakalashe umam'uCandlovu ngamaqhinga.
Kakade kufuneka ubenamagqinga ukuze uphumelele.
Ngumvundla umam'uJiba ngokundweba.
Yitalente yokuqeqesha yomfundi leyo.
Isityalo asikhuli singankcenkcetshelwanga:
Ngokunjalo nobuchopho buyaluzela xabuthe batshiswa.
Niyitshisile ingqondo yethu kwade kwanga kutsh'idobo.
Unzima umthwalo wokufundisa ungaphezu kokulima.
Kakade kufuneka uxhaph'ugwebu ukuze uphumelele.
Nibukhuphile ubumnyama kwilizwe elimnyama.
Waphuma umthetheleli, waphuma umhlengi nomhlengikazi,
Lakhany'ilizwe likaPhalo.
Hlalani phantsi nisebenzile bafundisi-ntsapho.
Nditsho kuni nina nibuso buntofo-ntofo ngathi zizibunu zomntwana.
Akusekho kukhala koko siyanikhulula.
Ndeeegraam! Ncincilili! Iyhoo!
