Our time

She come unnoticed like the smoke before a great flame. It burned my nose with a sweet burn. I didn't mind. We moved through the dance floor focused one another, on mirroring each other's steps.  She had a smile that illuminated the dark room. Lips as soft as roses on a summer's night. Hair of black silk and eyes that peer into my soul. We had a time that night. A time that I won't soon forget. The antithesis of her disappearance.
