Our Time with Chance

Near death experience never again do I want to encounter Foolish was I, putting our lives confronting the eyes of the Reaper. Heard the words of assurance "you're safe to go" they said time was crucial as action was taken one false movement and it was Hello Reaper Heart was racing Hands were shaking Eyes filled with panic Gas pedal to the floor Shrieking swarmed around Horror took over my thoughts Racing against time And what a close call it was! As we made it to safety I recalled the beaming headlights As laughter overflowed We realized, how blessed we truly are.
