Our Time Together

Our day together starts like this

Opinions are opinions yours are not mine

I say I disagree you say I'm out of line

I dare not say more

I know you won't listen

So I go through the rest of my day

but I see you again last period

You have turned journalism into hell

Taken what I love and turned it into a sorce of dread

I ask to print an article about bullying

I asked to print an article that i thought would help people

You say we only print 'happy up lifting articles'

that put the school in a good light'

I am unable to fight back against your oppressive dictatorship

so I print your lies

time and time again

one day things will change

one day the truth will be known

one day I will not be a puppet
