Our Village

The brilliant colors

The laughter of children
The music going on and on

The voice of a mother
When her baby cries
The teasing and taunting
From brothers all over
Girls showing off
All they've got
Men acting tough and superior
Women huddled up
In their little group
Whispering and giggling

This is our village
This is our home
This is where we belong
