"OUR VOICE"

It starts off small

it cries and cries

no words are spoken

at the beginning of your life

but i dont remember that time

words start slow and jumbled

slurred and mumbled

developing they grow

but not everyone speaks them enough

youshouldnt have to shout

to get our point across

yet we drown each other out

maybe if wed listen

wed gather up each voice

become stronger together

build some integrity and poise

unity

oh it begins with our vioce

silence, stop making so much noise

it hides the meaning

peaceful dreaming

with our voice
