On Our Way Home

My lids close in security to shield my pupils from the brightness of the sun’s rays. I smile as the warmth holds me so. My head rests onside to the view as the images of the Earth that fade into my mind, my dream, and then I dream of a place, where you take me. So far, so high, higher than our hemisphere, our world. By hand your take me into somewhere unfamiliar, my curiosity stirs with amazement concurred excitement and content for grace. I pace my heart to rein my persona that will run vast this place. My thoughts race with question. “why are we here?” You look into my eyes and then I entrusted you to protect me, for out of my amazement came fear, of things that could harm that could be near. What was queer was the secrecy of the sights before me and into the passage way you guide me. The sweet smell of rain, cherry blossoms, and the humming of honey bees animate my senses and the brightness shines through the end and into another world here we are. More astonishment than before. My heart and my mind endured more. Happiness was flooding my vessels. A kiss from a sun never seen. The height of that height was infinite, I was timid pondering the feet at which we soar. And onto the light breeze we fall and glide into the atmospheres. The brown of our eyes and the brown of our skin win the fairness of the clouds and we soar into the ultramarine blues I never knew. Suddenly we fall into a hall of evaporated white waters, my laughter and my smile, the environment was black and everything was gone, my eyelids open once again in curiosity with you smiling and your arm around me. I was in reality, fantasy no longer. The darkness was senile, the stars were fragile, this air was stronger. A short-lived moment brought sadness with tangibility. Trapped in death once more until we relive again.
