Our Wishful Thinking

Bluebells and red roses

Satin and sheer twill

Whispers and wedding music

A crowd of eager friends

Waiting to see the bride

Very quiet, I sit

Looking, searching,

Will he recgonize me?

The music stops

And I see his eyes

Searching, too.
