Our World

I learned I have to act like I'm Daddy's Little Girl Like me and my mom got a good relationship

like I live in a world of happiness and rainbows but it's not true

I live in a world of depression and anxiety I live in a world of drug abusers alcoholics I live in a world of kids being abused of kids being raped of kids being taken of their innocence of their childhood etc.

is this really the world that we have to live in is this really the world that we have to give

is this really our future is this really our past is this really what is happening to us and we have to be glad we can't show that we're sad

we can't show that we're mad or that were sad bc of fear of being judged

We have to fake a smile and it just makes me furious

Are we actually serious

Children are cutting themselves or trying to kill themselves

Our world is a mess and it just makes me so anxious and depressed

To think that suddenly this all just became normal

you would think that kids cutting themselves or killing themselves or school shootings are all abnormal but to us they are all just normal

To us when you hear one of these things has happened you just say "oh again" I mean ur in shock but it’s happened a thousand times

But we shouldn't be saying again we should be in shock that this is the world we live in

This is now our normality this should be ruled as a technicality because this should be abnormal this shouldn't be normal

Isn't it sad how when you think kid you think happiness and rainbows but no its not always just happiness and rainbow

But sadly this is our world now

Our world is growing more and more and faster but its turning into an absolute disaster
