Ouroboros

Sometimes When the sun paints my face From dark brown To gold, I wish it’d last. And my hair would stretch down to my waist With curls only a girl could desire. Watch it grow longer And longer. Till even I can't see how far it goes. Maybe i’m smothering myself In the greed Of things I want. Repeating the same needs over and over. God it tastes fucking amazing— Sometimes When the sun paints my face From dark brown To gold, I wish it’d last. And my hair would stretch down to my waist With curls only a girl could desire. I really like this. I think the repetition with the ouroboros metaphor is ingenious. Write on!
