Out By 5 (Based on a true story)

Heres a story about a kid that got cauht up

Living the life of a college student that he thought up

He felt he was invincable in anything he did

When one fine night life stepped upon his crib

His friends and compadres were doing their deeds

Taking some shots and smoking their weeds

They left out to party without cleaning their tracks

Next thing he knew, he was tapped on his back

Life came to see him, to teach him a lesson

Stay in your books, and here is a blessing

The friends were found out, the room had the turn up

He saw his future and family, begin to burn up

For now he was facing, the Out by 5

His finances and future were left high and dry

Or so he though, he was given a chance

His case was pleaded, he prayed in advance

God loves his children, fools included

For the boy thought he was expelled, his story is not concluded

Now with this new opportunity he tells you his tale

A walking miracle indeed, why didn't he fail?
