Out of the Dust.

The wind is still howling

The breeze is still blowing

It is now winter time

But the snow is not snowing

I wish it would rain

So we’d have something gain

I wish something would stop

And i wish it were the pain

Our land is so flat

If i could wish

There is a small grant

Lord please give, a small single plant

You can take it all away

But please oh please

Just let me pray

Just let me do it, for today

All I need is to say

And what i’ll say

Is just today

I wish it’d all go away
