Out of my Mind

I must be out of my mind to think you could ever like me,

But I guess I can't get you out of my mind.

When I see your smile it is a spark,

That ignites this empty heart,

And teaches me to try again,

Well sometimes trying hurts.

It hurts to try when you've been raised by others' opinions,

Opinions bullying you into silence.

When I see your beauty it gives me a voice,

Yet I didn't take a risk when I had a choice,

And now I wish I could go back,

But the past is gone.

I must be out of my mind to think you could ever like me,

But I guess I can't get you out of my mind.

When I think of you I want to be better,

I want to change into someone who has this together,
