Out of reach

Like staring At animals in cages Lines cut Compliments only go so far Out of reach Thumbs up Thumbs down They run Stampede Over the pure intentions Saying to much Turned off It felt nice Yet Felt out of reach Like looking for the destination With the street lights out No goodbye note No reason You thought You were on to something But it was just Another opportunity leaving You can never beg What wasn't ment to be there In the first place To stay Just because you feel it Doesn't mean it's real And being able to see it Doesn't mean it's not a mirage Like beautiful stars On a clear night A splender to look at But always Out of reach
