The Outbreak

Hear the waves crashing down the shore

Its deafening sound heard like a roar

The cool vibrant water was a shade of crystal blue

The feeling was so calming and cool

As you lay down on a hammock all relaxed and thought,

“I could just forget about my troubles and hang back”

The weather was filled with a breeze

That made you relax more with ease

The seagulls were fluttering away

Towards the vast sea's sway

Suddenly, you awoke due to a flash of bright lights

Where you were at your classroom and noticed that something is not right

The water and beach and all of its sounds are all gone

Then you realize that it was just a dream but luckily, the school year is almost done…
