The Outcasts

Few take the tome to
Take notice of the outcasts:

The girl sitting alone at the
Lunch table, her peers doing
Nothing but ignoring her.

The quiet boy who always sits
In the back of class, never daring
Raise his hand, for fear to give
The wrong answer.

Even seeing the girl strolling
Down the hall, tears staining
Her cheeks and not bothering
To se what's wrong.

Aren't we here for so much
More than enjoying our
Cushy lives, unwilling to
Step out of our comfort
Zone?

Let me tell you, my friend,
You're here for so much
More: to brighten others;
Days with His love, especially
The outcasts.
