Outgrow

It didn't come on fast

Rather quite slow

When I realized that the past

Was the childhood I wished to know

I was sitting with my friends

During our last summer together

When I realized everything ends

Even the things you want forever

The happiness I thought would last

Was just like any other show

Even though the timeline seems vast

They all end as we outgrow
