an outlook

She dreams of dreams far from where she stands

To her the world lies in the palms of her hands,

Anything is possible, nothing is true

You see in red while she sees in blue.

There are so many things i wish to take back

There are so many good qualities that i lack.

I am lazy I am forgetful and I am neurotic

My brain spins in circles, it becomes catastrophic.

I have passion and love spitting fire in my heart,

I am warm, i am light, at times i feel in the dark.

The sun shines in my eyes and I finally can see

The ocean sings in my ear and I am set free.

I watch as a war plane flies over my head,

I watch as people cry and unborn babies are dead,

I watch as this lifetime sinks into my grave,

Everyone seems to view life so vague,

But i don’t.
