The Outside

Only I know what the inside beholds

the outside seems so bitter and old

Each remarks cuts so deep

no one knows how hurtful they can really be

I deal with the pain as the days go by

wondering if it would be better if I die

Somedays there's joy and hope

stranger's smiles that help you cope

Tell me who wants to live a life this

No one so its better to hold your diss

Remember the inside is far from unseen

but the outside endures all the mean
