Outside Reality

As you sit and stare at the soft black sky, feeling the silent breeze across your skin, you begin to feel a refreshing solitude. Apart from worry and stress, you can quickly find a tiny escape, from your usual life. Bright stars and a dull moon become your only source of light, while the sounds of birds and crickets become your peaceful music. You discover a great relief when you just take a set outside. No more troubling evening news, or phone calls, just you, your thoughts, and the calm night sky. As a large gray cloud sneaks past and hides the glowing moon, you are left to wonder why these moments in nature are not always enjoyed. But as you slowly come back to your reality, you can remember that these same wonders, are available every night, in your comforting sky.
