Over and beyond you

I never had a chance,

I wasn't worth your time.

You had your life in a picture frame and

there was no room for me,

I tried to squeeze in

but it didn't work out because I was pushed out.

I have extended my arms out countless times

for you to save me

but just fell on my face waiting for you to hold me.

I ruined your picture perfect layout,

and have burdened you

with another life you don't need.

I don't need you, I wanted you

but life didn't have you in mind for me

and now when everyone has rejected you,

you come to me

and expect me to accept you

with a open heart and open arms.

I wanted that once upon a time

but this isn't a fairy tale this is real life.

So how does it feel to be on the other side?
