Over and Over, I Go Under

Sun faded notes, dance on moon lit memories. Evanescence stuck, and repeated. Within recollection played melodies. Past losses sung ride, across vast roiling waves, encased. Happiness once held, now squelched, leaves echoing future lived, erased. Hopes slow tune forced ashore, by depressions tangled tango born. Poise once held, left stepping on toes. Leaves desire wanting and spirit worn. Mind swells, once again court Poseidon. Singing to his mercy, two stepped. Begging over and over, to finally remain under. To drown in my ocean of floating tears, guilt wept.
