Over The Fear

Lend an ear, lend your heart, let them feel alright.

Think about what you love and what paralizes you with fear.

Now ask them if they are alright

I am afraid of trusting others, this is my truth,

now it is out and about, maybe I shall put my mask on again

I lend an ear to my dear friend, tell me what's wrong?

I lend an ear, but not the heart, I fear the human heart

I am human so I know there is another side,

I have learnt there is kindness in humanity as well,

I shall trust them and myself for tonight and an eternity we know
