Over-Intellectualization

Sometimes I sit here and wonder why

People are so damn afraid to die

if you like sitting here overthinking and waisting your time

You might as well just get up and go become a mime

Everyone is running away from death

Yet they never stop and listen or take a breath

We obsess over doing the best on all the tests

So much that in the end we have no time left

Life is like six flags it can really make you sick

But realize feelings are the one thing you pick

Your body is the filter and your feelings are the water

Depending on you their affects could be much smaller

Its all based on how you your process emotions

But to sadness there are no true mystical potions

Other than happiness filled with all the laughs and smiles

Life is like a rollercoaster that goes on for miles

Would you rather get off early than enjoy the ride

Damn i really guess people are afraid to die

If you sit here overthinking than your waisting your time

You'll be missing all the beauty thats waiting right outside

There's so much positivity here and it picked me up. For that I thank you kindly. Also I love the analogy you threaded into your stanzas. I think you found a great way to make some things that I would never have put together seem almost identicle
