An over kindled flame

Looking your way
Is like night and day
For I know that your glance won't return.
Do I kid with myself?
Are you out of your shell?
Or will feelings continue to burn?
The flame lit anew,
I thought it'd be through
Sparking and shooting it's fire.
Candles well spent,
Somehow dreadfully bent,
Turned a virtuous man to a liar.
Though it isn't too fair
To assign you a glare,
For there is no blame to be held.
Life simply Unfolded,
Manipulated, and Molded
Jars of emtions misspelled.
