Over the Rainbow

for a long time I was kept in the dark.

no light. no love. no color.

the future seemed black and white, dull, without vibrance.

that was until I opened.

it only took a turn of a knob, but it was thought to be a tragic end.

the knob stood between before me, and now me.

after turning the knob I was introduced to a world full of color.

no longer was my world black and white, but it beamed in color.

it was as if I stepped into the Land of Oz after I found myself Over the Rainbow.
