Over Time

I cannot not say you were a prince charming When I saw you I did not further seek My heart did not ache and my knees weren’t weak But the walk in the park was darling The girls would say he’s the richest of all But money and looks did not impress me Truly you see more than the eye can see The walk in the park and the lovely ball You asked if I knew that you were a prince To you with all kindness I did reply Yes, and I a princess and waved goodbye But the walk and ball and time ever since Led me to know that a force led you to Your true love, and from me, I do love you
