Overcome

Bullets fly thru me My blood covers the ground Everyones screaming, crying My nightmare has come to life. I have fallen and lost to man-kind Right place at the wrong time Death tolls rise The ground shakes Walls crack, roofs cave Shelves fall, crushing me Little do I know, I have fallen and lost to mother nature Right place at the wrong time Death tolls rise Soft voices, tears fall All over the news School shootings, massive quakes People calling out to loved ones Hope finally shows its face Help the fallen get back up Pay respect to those who lost I have risen and overcame egos Wrong place at the right time Spirits rise
