Overcome Your Fear

Fear can hurt and fear can heal

Fear is a friend when no one is near

Fear is a problem without an end

Is fear an enemy or is it a friend?

Some people may think that fear can help

But really it makes you as weak as some kelp

What can you do when fear holds you back?

Work hard to overcome it and fight back

Instead of a coward why not be brave

Work hard, be independent, don’t be a slave

When you’re afraid of the dark, face your fear

Or you will always be as frightened as a deer

Instead of cowering get up and fight

Don’t just think that you can say in the light

Go outside in the dark and just remember

The beautiful sun in the month of November

Once you do that you will no longer fear

For to you it will seem like the light is quite near

Now as for the rest of you what will you do?
