Overcoming

So here I sit

alone

Not sure of what to feel

Not sure of what to say

Not sure if any second my life could be taken away

I wonder who would know

I wonder who would care

Where were you when all I wanted was to be loved

Where are the people that so call claim to be my 'friends'

Why can't I be loved

Why can't I be cherished

When will people want to know the REAL me

Can these eyes hide under my skin for any longer?

How long do I have to cough up all the blood you drained out of my body

How much longer will my eyes be able to sustain their strength

Am I wrong for what I feel?

Am I wrong to say I'm hurt

Or am I wrong for needing the love I rejected?

People expect so much from me but never earned my trust

You want me to love u

Look for u

Talk to u

While you fucking sit on my stomach

Slowly,

slowly taking out all of the air that was never yours

You want the strength I burry

But listen here, you will never be able to carry

Carry all these loads

All these unresponsive feelings

All of the things that you can't even find in your buried sack of shit you call your heart

Listen.

Don't hate me for something I can't take back

But remember this.

my soul will no longer tremble under your prying eyes

And here

Here are your bags

Because I will never carry them on my back again

Now bleed

Now scream

Here lies all the shit you threw to me

This is goodbye
