Overcoming is Awesome

It's absolutely wrong.

The pain others see
That they hide

They hurt more and more
And are forgotten

It's dark
And quiet
And awful

The dirt coated the floor
And children
The frowns swiping the room

But the bright flower
That sits in the front
Subtracted some sadness
And added a smile

And that smile
It brought someone to hold the door
And say something
Like never before

And the trail continued
And stones weren't thrown
But handed as gifts
And smiles were given for free
Giving one brightening the world

And one good deed from one flower
Grew into ten, hundred, thousand
And kisses weren't forced but
Given as a token of happiness
And finally the happiness reached it

The happiness touched the start
The dirty place that once was hard
Turned into that same love
That same goodness
That same hopefulness
It turned into bursts of laughter

The world is a dark, dark place
And kills one by one
With a dark snare saying we'll fail
But if we find ourselves
Looking, feeling, holding

If we find one struggling,damned
All we have we have to do is find
A single flower that makes us strive
To help the others and it starts
So don't give up hope.

Hold. On. Pain. Ends.
It can end it
That one spark
It turned into a flame

And that flame roared into a fire
And that fire heated everyone
It warned their hearts
Because someone found Hope.

We are not meant to stay
We are meant to move
Into new days and life

To move into a new season
Where now I don't see the dirt
I see my potential to be clean

It can be better
If I start the train of it

And in that
Everything is Awesome

If that's what you make it.
