Overcoming Fear

Big or small, we all have them

Keep them to ourselves, our brain is where we pack them

In order to face your fears you have to extract them

And facing them at times can be hard to fathom,

But fears weren't made to close gates,

They were made to open gates and motivate

Instead they're denoted to things that tote or promote hate,

When fears should be known as things that depict and denote fate

This is food for thought now decide if its edible,

If I told you I've dealt with fears of my own, would it make me more credible?

And if I told you I overcame those fears, would it make yours more addressable?

My biggest fear in life was the fear of not being dependable

I want all people to be able to trust me, especially the ones I've given love to,

If I'm not to be depended on by the people I love, then what have I succumbed to?

So I am always the first to help when someone is in need so that they know who to come to

I tell you this to show that if I found a way to turn my fear into something positive, then you can find one too
