Overcoming Sadness
Soft as the wind blowing outside
Is the cry of a voice so quite
That you have to be in her head to hear it
She weeps and weeps
To find the answers to her
Unanswered questions
But life is unfair in a way no one can explain
Yet while this small voice strains to be heard
The world keeps turning
And each day passes
Though you have to choose if you'd rather bathe in the light or drown in the darkness.
