The imagery in this poem is incredible. I love the choice of subject matter. The usage of words like "tendrils" and "snaking" add lots of life to the poem. The only thing that confused me slightly was the usage of the word "effervescent." I had to google it so I might be incorrect on its meaning, but from everything I found it means bubbly or carbonated. Perhaps it's being used in the way you'd describe a person as bubbly, but either way I believe it was a poor word choice.
