Overloaded destiny ... satire

Galatians 5:19-21

19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, depravity, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostilities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish rivalries, dissensions, factions, 21 envying, murder, drunkenness, carousing, and similar things. I am warning you, as I had warned you before: Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God!

Destiny

Overloaded destiny … vague in memory

Dullness in the mind … slowly searching

Surrounded by walls … muffling the calls

Voices of silence … are crying in the night

Deep hidden agony … lack of sympathy

Turning aside … in indifference

Now after all … all appear so small

Too far removed … from what is right

Should be blasphemy … its own trilogy

Settling comfortably … in its own dimension

Forever to fall … lost in the very call

to where the clueless rule … despised

No more epiphany … screaming harmony

One chorus blasts … now the uncertain

Starched and tall … surely nominal

Digging down deeper … never more to rise
