Overlooking

I am aware of the stress,

The anxiety these moments in your life bring,

But take your time to assess

The good things that you’re overlooking.

While there are hindrances that make you feel less,

Aren’t there just as many chances, opportunities?

All the good and help that can coalesce

From family, friends, and the community.

So why sit, depress, and redress,

When there is beauty in the world that can blossom?

There’s always room to have success and progress

When everything in this world is awesome.
