Overthinking

I wish I didn’t do it

I wish it would stop

All of these little things

Intruding my thoughts

All the small things

That are nothing

Become big things

That are everything.

I get caught up in my head

Rethinking everything I said.

I wish I didn’t say this

I Wish I had said that.

Analyzing everything that was said.

Looking too far into things

I know I shouldn’t.

I can’t help it. I'm sorry.

Just gotta love my Overthinking.

Why do I keep getting myself

Into this mess

Feels like i'm just pushing too far,

putting my limits to the test.

My hands are shaking

My breath is labored

My stomach is twisted

I want it all to end

To just stop

Make the pain stop.

Just stop.
