Overtime
The puck is dropped at center ice
The teams battle like knights for control
Their bodies are the players sacrifice
Before you know it someone has a goal
The red light has just been lit
As the foghorn roars for longer than ever
It’s amazing how the puck got through that slit
Will this goalie forgive himself? Probably never
One team has a chance to celebrate
For they have fulfilled their childhood dreams
For the other team a pain excruciation
As their locker room fills with angry screams
Game seven of the finals has just been one
Hasn’t this season been extremely fun?
