Own Door

I am the oldest of 3 boys

Therefore, as far back as I can remember, I had to share my toys.

My brothers tell me I am bossy when we fight

What they don't admit is I am usually in the RIGHT.

My favorite thing to do is play sports

I am known at school for my crazy Chubbies shorts.

Conservative in my beliefs and traditional values

The love for my family and friends is not to be misconstrued.

I go to school and make good grades

In hopes my parents will get off my case!

In Tatum High School I am number 4 in my class

Even with that my parents STILL won't get off my ass!

I am working hard to get my schooling paid for

So one day I can live in a house behind my own door.

I am a senior at Tatum High School in Tatum, TX. I am a varsity baseball player and am #4 in my class. I love hunting, politics, cars and trucks. My parents own a small independent grocery store where I work part time. With the downturn of the economy, they cannot afford to send me to college so I am applying for scholarships such as this one. I must admit, this was the MOST FUN scholarship application so far! I have already been accepted and plan to attend Louisiana Tech University majoring in Accounting.
