Own Your Flaws

Wherever I look, I see what others what me to be.

I look in magazines and think why can’t I be as perfect as she?

To have a perfect face, and gorgeous long hair.

The media forces us to become someone else-its not fair!

But now, I know how to not let myself get down.

I know I am not perfect, but for that I am proud.

Proud that I don’t have a perfect body or perfect skin.

Because if I was flawless I would get bored of this life I live in.

So I rejected the media and embrace my individuality.

Because there is only of me with my personality.

I am flawless in my own special way.

I am filled with imperfections that perfect me everyday.

So next time you feel your at loss.

Shake off that thought and remember whose boss.

We are all our own kind of flawless in our own kind of way.

Own that flawless, and flaunt it everyday!
