Ownership of Me


I dance to the tune of dismay I laugh in the face of expectation I exalt in the light of life I cry in the den of solitude I cringe at the infinities within decisions I run in hope and skepticism I dance for my moment I laugh with the hyenas I exalt in fulfillment I cry in fear and joy I cringe in embarrassment I run in patience All of these are me and I am all of these The darkness of one never blots the brilliance of the light But the light dampens the darkness of some And until the day when I conquer the darkness I say Suck it Trebeck And continue
