oxygen
my head hurts;
the pounding of my blood
pumping through the
veins in my brain;
louder... louder.
my chest stings and everything reeks of sadness and error.
we breathe oxygen,
pulled into the red blood cells,
dragged through the body.
pounding the walls of every vein in my body.
louder.. louder
my ears are tolerant,
my eyes are tolerant,
my words are tolerant,
my heart is not.
